Updated Standard AI model with Auto settings

6x upscale using the updated Standard model in Gigapixel AI

We've made significant improvements to both the upsampling and parameter selection models of the Standard mode in Gigapixel AI. The new upsampling model is trained with a wider variety of datasets and extra optimization objectives. The parameter selection model applies a new structure, which better estimates the noise and blur level of a photo. You can use both models together by enabling the new General mode Auto setting, which provides improved quality for many photos without degradation.

Improved cropping experience

Cropping is an important part of the upscaling workflow, which is why we're excited to provide a better experience for that task. While a lot of the cropping improvements are under-the-hood, you can now lock the crop aspect ratio by holding down the Shift key, freeform crop dimensions can now be flipped, and ISO A4 has been added as a new aspect ratio preset.

Lots of bug fixes and usability improvements

Gigapixel AI v5.7 includes a host of bug fixes and usability improvements that should result in a more stable and streamlined user experience. Some of the improvements include fixing keyboard shortcuts on certain number fields, adding missing View mode shortcuts on macOS, fixing various layout bugs when resizing windows, improving the reliability of the Preview window under certain situations, and fixing the comparison view not updating when changing scale.
