Topaz Studio runs on 64bit systems only
Why?
There are a number of reasons for dropping support for a specific configuration or environment. In this case, we have decided that supporting only one architecture will enable us to be more responsive to our customers, improve on the quality and presentation of our technology, and enable more flexibility than our users have seen from us in the past.
Is there a technical reason?
As stated above, the reasons for dropping support can be extensive, but one major limitation that we have decided to stop focusing our attention on is the memory limitation of 32bit systems. Yes, Microsoft is still releasing 32bit versions of their latest OS (Windows 10). However, Apple has not supported 32bit machines for well over 5 years on their latest OS versions.
